Caracas September 10, 1948
He studies guitar at Madrid's Superior Conservatory of Music, 1972-1973. Further Guitar studies at the Bravants Conservatorium of Tilburg, Holland, 1973-1974. He obtains his Classic Guitar Performer Professorship Graduation Degree at the José Angel Lamas Superior School of Music in year 1977.

In years 1980-1982 he studies Composition with Yannis Ioannidis, Héctor Tosar and Antonio Mastrogiovanni in Caracas. During that time also studies Choir Conducting with Michel Eustache and Alberto Grau. Since year 1982, conducts the Choir of 'La Seguridad' Insurance Company.

In year 1980, founds the Classic Guitars duo "Manuel E. Pérez Díaz" together with the guitarist Alejandro Vásquez de la Torre. Thereafter, founds the Guitars trio "Entre Cuerdas" with Alejandro Vásquez and Frankue Martínez whose work is centered on performing the original works written for this format and the transcriptions of not well-known works from the universal chamber music repertoire.

In 1992, is appointed by the Venezuelan Guitar Friends Association (AVAGUI) producer, conductor, and animator of the broadcast transmission "The Guitar", transmitted by 'Radio Nacional de Venezuela', up to June of 1996.   

In year 1997, together with the music group ENTRE VOCES (Into voices) records his first Compact Disk, entitled "Concierto Entre voces" - Concert Into voices - achieving spontaneous and laudatory critics, besides deserving winning the "1999 Casa del Artista (The Artist's Home) Prize Nomination", as best Vocal Group.

In 1999, he records his second Compact Disk ENTRE VOCES Vol. II with this same group, with a very peculiar selection of the urban popular music that has most influence Venezuela in the last 40 years.
