Musical studies
Begins his musical studies at age nine. In 1958, joins the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome thanks to a scholarship granted by the Maracaibo Municipal Council. There, he studied with Profs. Olivio Do Doménico and Vicenzo Davico. Upon culmination of his musical studies, returns to Venezuela devoting himself to composition and the conducting of musical groups.

He has performed as invited conductor to the Venezuela Symphonic Orchestra, Maracaibo Symphonic Orchestra, INCIBA Chamber Orchestra, Colombia National Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra of Ecuador, Mexico Fine Arts Orchestra, Rome's Chamber Orchestra and the Cairo Symphonic Orchestra. His music has been performed in these locations, in addition to the United States and Peru. He has lectured about his music at the Universities of Columbia, Indiana, Illinois and Texas, the United States.
